What is it?

It is a GSM standard (ETSI-GSM11.14 Ph2 of 1996) that allows the SIM cards start actions that could be used by value added services.

Consists of a series of commands programmed inside the SIM card which indicates the SIM how to interact directly with the mobile WEB, using text messages as a key mechanism for personalizing the user's SIMS.

WAU-STK allows the SIM to develop exchanges between a WEB application and the user. The SIM also can give commands to the cellular phone to permit the generation and actualization of access menus, execution of actions from mobile phones and request of user information.
